Protect Yourself

The Firearms Restraining Order (FRO) allows family/household members, and law enforcement to work with courts to temporarily remove guns and prevent the purchase of new guns by individuals who pose a significant risk of harm to themselves or others.

For 30 years, Giffords Law Center has been at the forefront of the fight for justice and legislative reform. And we won’t stop until we’ve put an end to this epidemic once and for all.

Illinois Medical Professionals Action Collaborative Team (IMPACT), a nonprofit organization of health professionals leveraging social and traditional media to fight misinformation and advocate for science-based policy.

Mental Health Resources

After the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida, MFOL marched, activated the country, built a home for youth political advocacy, and helped engage over 2 million voters.

Survivor’s Toolkit
