File a witness slip to support common sense gun legislation
Raise your voice for gun safety in Illinois by filling out witness slips!
Members of the public may fill out a “witness slip” to show opposition or support to bills assigned to committee in the Illinois General Assembly. Electronic witness slips can be submitted up to the conclusion of the committee hearing (House) and the end of the day of the committee hearing's scheduled date (Senate). However, then the time period to submit witness slips expires. Therefore it is important to complete the witness slips as soon as possible. It is easy to do and takes just a few minutes. You do not need to go to Springfield to fill out a witness slip and express your position on a bill to the Illinois General Assembly.
Handy tip - you may create an account that allows you to autofill your information to make filing multiple witness slips even faster.
